Kevin Kim is an Associate Principal at Trindent Consulting with more than 15 years of experience in the energy and oil and gas sectors. Prior to joining Trindent, Kevin worked at Imperial Oil and Suncor Energy in various upstream and downstream roles, ranging from process design and engineering to global real-time optimization positions that delivered profit, safety, and environmental performance improvements.
At Trindent, Kevin has helped over 20 midstream and refining assets across North America and Asia achieve margin improvements through value chain optimization, product quality giveaway reduction, energy efficiency, and refinery and custody measurement practices. He has delivered over $250,000,000 in sustained profit improvements without any capital expenditure and has helped clients implement critical processes, management operating systems, and organizational behaviors that drive strategic action. Kevin also partners with industry executives to drive sustainable improvements, establish clear accountabilities, and implement performance metrics that enhance business development and capital investment ideation processes that monetize opportunities while mitigating risks.
