Standing Proud with 2SLGBTQI+ Creators

At Trindent Consulting, inclusion isn’t just a value – it’s a responsibility we carry with intention every day. Pride Month is both a celebration and a call to action, reminding us of the ongoing journey toward equity, dignity, and visibility for 2SLGBTQI+ communities.
This June, we’re reaffirming our commitment by uplifting the voices of queer artists, creators, and changemakers – individuals whose work challenges norms, inspires dialogue, and brings vibrant new perspectives to our world.
Amplifying Queer Creative Voices
In 2024, we proudly highlighted artists from the Fire Island Artist Residency, including Leilah Babirye and Paul Mpagi Sepuya, whose powerful work explores identity, gender, and transformation.
This year, we’re broadening our lens to celebrate 2SLGBTQI+ creatives from across Canada, the United States, and beyond. Their stories, talents, and perspectives deserve to be seen and heard – not only during Pride, but always.
We invite our clients, partners, and team members to take part in this celebration by:
- Buy from 2SLGBTQI+ artists – whether original pieces, digital art, or merchandise.
- Share their stories – on social platforms, in your workplace, and within your community.
- Attend exhibitions, panels, and talks – to experience the creative energy of queer voices firsthand.
- Support emerging artists – through donations, mentorship, or simply spreading the word.
Showing Up with Support
This year has brought increased challenges for many Pride organizations and events, including funding cuts that have impacted celebrations in cities like Toronto. We recognize that allyship means more than words – it means action.
In response, we’ve dedicated a budget to support local Pride efforts here in Toronto. It’s our way of showing up for the community-not just in spirit, but in a tangible, meaningful way.
Pride Beyond the Month
At Trindent, our commitment to allyship goes far beyond June. We’re intentional about creating inclusive spaces every day-through diverse hiring, thoughtful leadership, and a workplace culture where everyone is free to be their full, authentic selves.
Pride is not just a celebration. It’s a commitment to building a workplace, and a world, where equity is lived every day.
Join the Conversation
Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing stories that honor the creativity, courage, and resilience of 2SLGBTQI+ individuals. If you’re looking for ways to make a difference, we encourage you to explore and support organizations doing powerful work, like The 519, Rainbow Railroad, and Pride at Work Canada.
To our 2SLGBTQI+ colleagues, clients, and friends: we see you, we support you, and we are proud to stand with you – not just this month, but every month.
