Bob Baird

Bob Baird Executive Advisor

A member of Trindent’s Executive Advisory Board, Bob brings a wealth of experience in strategy, consulting and in all aspects of oil refining. Mr. Baird was appointed Senior Vice President, Downstream at Husky Energy in April 2012. Previously Bob had been Vice President, Downstream and Vice President, Upgrading and Refining for Canada at Husky Energy. He was responsible for overseeing five business units including Canadian Downstream, U.S. Refining, Retail & Canadian Product Marketing, Commodity Supply & Marketing and Downstream Commercial.

Donald McColl

Donald McColl Executive Advisor

A member of Trindent’s Executive Advisory Board, Donald has over forty years of professional experience, most recently completing twenty-two years of professional services leadership in Deloitte's Risk Advisory practice.

As a Partner at Deloitte for eighteen years Donald held several roles including leading the Technology Risk (Cyber and Assurance) practice in Toronto, Canada and national leadership of the Service Auditor Controls market offering. In addition to marketplace activities, Donald's responsibilities included recruitment, talent management and development, and financial operations management.

Donald spent thirteen years at Scotiabank in Toronto, Canada where he led the Information Security (Cyber) function for six years as well as time spent heading up a large application systems development group. Donald's career as a Chartered Accountant started in Glasgow, Scotland with financial statement audit experience before focusing on information technology audits.

Donald offers a wealth of experience in profitably growing and managing a successful professional services organization with a keen interest in talent development and technology innovation.

Donald’s personal interests include soccer, music, and spending time with family.

Stephan Rajotte

Stephan Rajotte Executive Advisor

Stephan Rajotte is a member of Trindent’s Executive Advisory Board, and previously led Trindent’s global Financial Services Practice. Before joining Trindent, Stephan held the position of Executive Vice President, International Business Division at Samsung Life, based in Seoul, Korea where he oversaw business units in China and Thailand. Prior to this position, Stephan was President of Sun Life Financial Asia, based in Hong Kong, with responsibilities for operations in five countries. Stephan has also held Regional CEO, Country CEO and Chief Operating Officer positions for MetLife, AIA and ING.

Stephan has deep functional expertise in every aspect of insurance business strategy, with a particular expertise in operational efficiency, business transformation and sales and marketing optimization. Stephan is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Stephan’s personal interests include sharing and appreciating many aspects of Asian cultures.

Oscar Zimmerman

Oscar Zimmerman Executive Advisor

A member of Trindent’s Executive Advisory Board, Oscar brings a wealth of experience in assurance, product innovation, non-traditional insurance distribution, and structured reinsurance. Through a number of senior executive roles, Oscar has focused on corporate oversight, insurance risk management, and custom reinsurance business development.

Oscar previously acted as the CEO of the insurance arm of one of Canada’s premier banks. One of his achievements was the expansion of the bank’s insurance business through a combination of building up insurance brokerage, affinity distribution/reinsurance programs, as well as standalone Life and P&C risk taking through direct insurance and reinsurance subsidiaries.

Throughout his career, Oscar has had senior roles in corporate actuarial, asset liability management, individual product pricing (both PAR and non-PAR) in North America, as well as U.S. Pensions, Canada Pensions and U.S. Variable Insurance. Oscar is a retired former Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and the American Academy of Actuaries.
